Consortium of Institutes of Higher Education in Health and Rehabilitation In Europe

Consortium of Institutes of Higher Education in Health and Rehabilitation In Europe (COHEHRE)
Cohehre is a non-profit organisation whose aim is to facilitate Europeanisation between higher education institutions within Europe who offer professional education to health and social care students. Cohehre is a member-led organisation made up of institutions. Cohehre aims to bring together Deans and Heads, teachers and professors and international coordinators from health and social care institutions. Cohehre offers its members of health and social care the chance to come together in order to stimulate change in the European and home environment with regard to professional health and social care education. Through its activities it seeks not only to disseminate information that is pertinent to its constituency but also to aid mutual understanding of the issues. Cohehre aids professional development of its membership by supporting exchanges and project work, publishing related papers in the Journal of Allied Health, hosting an annual conference. In the near future it may be possible to also provide weekend workshops and seminars that ensure adequate attention is paid to the more specific issues of concern to its members.
