Development projects

Development projects at Tallinn Health University of Applied Sciences support innovation in the field of health and well-being, the development of services, and the practical implementation of evidence-based solutions. The projects bring together education, research and development activities, and collaboration with companies, healthcare institutions, and public sector organisations.

Through development projects, we contribute to the advancement of modern healthcare and social services, the implementation of health technologies, the development of professional competencies, and the promotion of sustainable and people-centred healthcare.

The projects cover a wide range of areas, including:

  • health and well-being promotion;
  • development of nursing and midwifery care;
  • implementation of health technologies and digital solutions;
  • development of patient- and user-centred services;
  • continuing education and professional competence development for healthcare professionals;
  • occupational well-being, patient safety, and quality management;
  • sustainable and environmentally conscious healthcare.

Development projects are carried out in cooperation with Estonian and international partners and are funded through various national and international programmes.
