Introduction

Tallinn Health University of Applied Sciences has a Vocational Education Department that instructs vocational study programmes of a Care Worker, Child Minder, Client Worker for People with Mental Health Problems, Assistive Technology Specialist, Sterilisation Technician, Dental Assistant and Clinical Secretary.

Studies are school-based and workplace-based.

Work of the Vocational Education Department is organised by the Head whose tasks are ensuring compliance of the department´s activities with legal regulations, The Statutes of Tallinn Health University of Applied Sciences and documents and other legal acts. The Head is responsible for organising the studies, development of study programmes and their accreditation and professional development of the teachers.
