2018

The fifth joint International Week “Prevention. Risk. Responsibility”  of Tallinn Health Care College,  TTK University of Applied Sciences and the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences  took place 5. – 9.11.2018.  The guests got an overview of all three institutions and their laboratories and simulation labs. The main focus was on practical exercises: guests had the possibility to participate in simulations and rescuers exercise a day in Väike-Maarja study complex, where they could practice smoke-diving and surface rescue.

International week offers great possibilities to  introduce Estonia and our institutions to foreign partners, launch new projects and joint research ideas; and encourage students, teachers and staff to participate in international cooperation and mobility. The cultural programme included the presentation of the local folk dance group, tour in the Old Town and KUMU Art Museum. The week ended with a hike in Kakerdaja bog.

62 participants were from 17 countries: Bulgaria, Spain, Iran, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Pakistan, Rumania, Germany, Slovenia, Slovakia, Turkey, Check Republic, Hungary, Ukraine and Russia.
