WELCOME TO ESTONIA WEEK 2019

6-30 August 2019 "Welcome to Estonia Week" will take place for Erasmus+ incoming students of Talllinn Health Care College, TTK University of Applied Sciences and Estonian Academy of Security Sciences. Welcome week is a great opportunity to meet Erasmus students of fall semester 2019, learn some Estonian and find local friends! Participation at the Welcome Week gives you 2 ECTS points.

09.00 Welcome and sign-up, welcome bags
09.15 – 09.45 Introduction: Estonia and student life
* Estonia and life in Estonia
* Introduction of universities, coordinators and student buddies
* Welcome Week schedule and practicalities
09.45 – 10.00 students divided to three language groups, going to classes
10.00 – 11.30 Estonian language class
11.30 - 12.15 LUNCH at own cost
12.15 - 13.45 Estonian language class
17.50 Meeting place at the entrance of the Academy
19.00 Rectors´ Reception to international students at Tallinn Health Care College (Formal Event)

Tuesday, 27 of August
Location: TTK University of Applied Sciences, address: Pärnu mnt 62, Tallinn
9.30 - 11.00 Estonian language class
11.00 - 11.15 BREAK
11.15 - 12.45 Estonian language class
12.45 - 13.30 LUNCH at own cost
13.30 - 14.00 Going to Old Town, meeting at the Freedom Square at 13.45
14.00 - 15.30 Old Town Tour - Guide Olga Novikova

Wednesday, 28 of August
Location: Mustjöe Kõrtsitalu (http://www.mustjoe.ee/)
Train to Aegviidu: meeting 14.00 at the Baltic Train Station. You’ll have to pay for your train 
tickets (ca 4 Eur one way )
14.40 – 15.29 train from Tallinn to Aegviidu, forest walk to Mustjõe Farm (4,5 km)
Estonian style evening: dinner, sauna, barbeque, games, party

Thursday, 29 of August
Location: Mustjöe Kõrtsitalu (http://www.mustjoe.ee/)
10.00 Breakfast
ca. 12.00 Back to Tallinn by train

Friday, 30 of August
Location: Estonian Academy of Security Sciences, Kase 61, Tallinn
11.00 ESN information session and Tour around the Academy
13.00 Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year
