Inauguration ceremony
Ulvi Kõrgemaa inaugurated as Rector of Tallinn Health University of Applied Sciences
Today, on 7th September, Ulvi Kõrgemaa was inaugurated as the Rector of Tallinn Health University of Applied Sciences.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Agris Peedu, Chair of the UAS Advisory Board and Chairman of the Management Board of North Estonia Medical Centre; Karmen Joller, Minister of Social Affairs; Renno Veinthal, Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Research; and Andrus Pedai, Chair of the Estonian Rectors' Conference of Universities of Applied Sciences, and Rector of Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences Mainor, who delivered words of greeting.
Speeches were also given by Pikner Boris Vainu, Chair of our Student and Pupil Council, and Ülle Ernits, former Rector of Tallinn Health University of Applied Sciences, who had the honour of handing over the rector's chain of office.
Musical interludes were performed by the Estonian National Male Choir, conducted by Rasmus Erismaa.
