Development of Quality System in Applied Higher Education Institutions 2005-2007
DEVELOPMENT OF QUALITY SYSTEMS IN APPLIED HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS
2005-2007
The quality of work in applied higher institution depends on an important part of the administrative system- feedback and monitoring of effectiveness.
System of feedback and monitoring (SFM) forms a part of quality assuranceand and is prerequisite for funtional system, as it:
- provides management with regularily measured information on the functioning of quality system;
- enables to make adequate decisions for quality improvement;
- incorporates students, lecturers, graduates and emplyers;
- is based on modern infotechnological solutions.
The feedback mechanisms of different extention and level of specification applied education institutions have applied so far do not guarantee adequite and relevant information as input for administrative decisions. Collection and processing of feedback requires much recources (time, manpower). Also the modern possibilities of information technology that might be the source for reducing nessessary resources and enables to avoid possible mistakes are used unsufficiently.
