1. October. Donor Day of the North- Tallinn Regional Hospital Blood Center in Tallinn Health College.

1. October. In the frames of the project "Lighten the load" organised by the European Agency of Safety and Health at Work is Milvi Moks working in Järvakandi to prepare a presentation for the Health at Work Day in Estonia and to write articles for THC ergonomics project "Lighten the load".

3.-8. September. Programme TEMPUS project "Health Promotion and Nurses Guidance Skills" training camp in Nizhni Novgorod. Participants: Tiina Juhansoo and Riina Shor.

3. September-23. November. Occupational therapy students from Riga Stradina University  Inara Kurca and Daiga Jakusenoka are studying as Erasmus exchange students in Tallinn Health College. Instructing lecturer: Karin Lilienberg.

8.-18. August. THC nursing student Valentina Gribova is participating in the  XXIV Summer Universiade in Bangkok, Tailand.

10. August. Discussion of further cooperation between Tallinn Health College and EELK Tallinn Diaconia Hospital. Participants: Ülle Ernits, Tiina Juhansoo from THC and Katrin Raamat from EELK Tallinn Diaconia Hospital.

10. August. Ülle Ernits participated in the discussion of cooperation with Astangu Toimetulekukeskus.

2. July. Olaf Bush from the German education trust SALO PARTNER discussing possibilities for further cooperation in Tallinn Health College.

2.-7. July. Inesa Bung is visiting the Chair of Dental Technology of Tallinn Health College to discuss further cooperation between THC and Riga College with Tiina Juhansoo and Tõnu Kauba.

The aim of the study visit of P. Stradina College of Health Care, Latvia, is to get acquainted with the principles and opening of level studies for nurses in THC.  

Participants of the meeting: Ilga Erina (director), Iveta Strode and Aiga Graudune from P. Stradina College and Tiina Juhansoo, Marika Asberg and Ulvi Kõrgemaa from THC. 

The agreement between Tallinn Health College and West-Tallinn Central Hospital was signed in Tallinn on 16.01.2007.

The aim of the agreement is to develop an effective framework between the college and hospital to improve the quality of nurses´ and midwives´ professional preparation and develop evidence based nursing activities.  

The aim of the cooperation agreement signed on 18.05. 2006 in Paide is to centralize the potential, achievements, knowledge, skills and experienced of Estonian applied higher education institutions to develop the evel of applied higher education and educational policy in Estonia.   

To reach the set aims applied education institutions cooperate through the Council of Applied Education Institutions rectors.

The quality of work in applied higher institution depends on an important part of the administrative system- feedback and monitoring of effectiveness.
System of feedback and monitoring (SFM) forms a part of quality assuranceand and is prerequisite for funtional system, as it:

The aim of the project launched in 2007 by the Ministry of Education and Research is to offer the lecturers of higher education institution:

• theoretical and practical knowledge on the levels of language skills and their measurement;
• knowledge how to organise studies in the groups of students with different mother tongues and levels of Estonian language skills.
