Cooperation in preparing kineziterapists 10.2004

„Cooperation of teaching and health care institutions in preparing kineziterapists“ (occupational therapists) (for teachers).
October 3- 9, 2004

In the frames of this project was Tallinn Medical School hosting the follwing delagation from Siauliai, Lithuania:
Audronis Steikunas, Elena Kairiene, Nijole Kelpsaite, Regina Lauruskiene, Adolfina Lumiene, Eslanda Mockevieciene, Marija- Lillija Zidoniene, Janina Ziziene.

The aim of the visit was to get acquainted with Tallinn Medical School, have discussions about curricula and the plan for further cooperation, participate in theoretical lectures treating professional ethics and functional anatomy, special attention was drawn to the curriculum of occupational therapists and its development in cooperation with the Swedish Association of Occupational Therapists. During the visit the guests also followed practical training "Spine of a healthy person and the sick", discussed about functional anatomy and movements, visited pre- school institution "Õunake" to take part in a practical training, visited the rehabilitation hospital of Tallinn Regional Hospital and "JUKS" and particpated in a practical training "Examination of patients by usage of different methods of kinezitherapy".
